Andrewsarchus ("Andrews' beast") - mammal, genus of family triisodontidae. Measured 3.4 metres (11 ft) in length, 1.4 metres (4.5 ft) in height and weighed up to 800 kilos (1.763 lb). It lived from 60.000.000 to 32.000.000 years ago, during the Eocene epoch. Its remains have been found in Asia.
