About Deinotherium[]

Deinotherium ("terrible beast") was a large prehistoric relative of modern-day elephants that appeared in the Middle Miocene and survived until the Early Pleistocene. During that time, it changed very little. In life, it probably resembled modern elephants, except it had downward-curving tusks attached to the lower jaw.^[1]

In Game[]

The Deinotherium is a Super Rare Snow creature unlocked in the game by beating Battle Stage 40. Once unlocked, it can be purchased in the Creature Market for 1600 DNA. It was one of the few creatures to be demoted in the Cenozoic Rebalance, going from Legendary to Super Rare. Despite this, it is still quite powerful, having stats comparable to Archaeotherium, which can be unlocked by beating Battle Stage 44. The two can work together to cover up each other's weaknesses, with Archaeotherium dealing with Caverns with high damage that would otherwise be Deinotherium's bane.
